Wesley Prep Kindergartners are learning about Augmented Reality in Computer Lab. Augmented means to add. Augmented Reality or AR adds 3D images to our real world to make it fun and interesting. Students tried AR coloring pages from the Quiver program. Once these coloring pages are scanned through the app, they become AR and the images come to life as if they are coming out of the paper!
They also used the Merge Cube to try more AR activities. Students were able to hold the solar system in their hands and study it very closely. They also saw a campfire in action, cut a watermelon in pieces and drove a plane through mountains. Very Cool!
