Once again, our Wesley Prep grads placed at the most prestigious schools in Dallas. Our 2011 class included students who have attended Wesley Prep since they were infants. These students are fierce competitors and excel in working as a team both in the classroom and on the sports field. Their interests range from guitar and piano to karate, soccer, volleyball, basketball and football. One of the highlights of the year was participating on the robotics team. Their determination propelled them to qualify in the tri-state region as one of 52 out of 125 teams to advance to the First Lego League regional finals. Our team took home third place in the research project portion and fourth place in the timed event. At the FLL Regional Finals at Hockaday, they won eighth place in the timed event out of 52 teams. Their experiences preforming in musicals and plays, trips to Camp Classen and California and robotics have inspired them to pursue interests in computers, programming and robotics, marine biology and space exploration.

Our Wesley Prep grads place at the most prestigious schools in Dallas. Our 2010 class included students that have attended Wesley Prep since the age of two. Their interests range from classical guitar to soccer. They list the year’s highlights as the robotics competition, and the sixth grade trip to California, where they studied the ocean and slept on a research ship.
