Admission Procedures and Key Dates for New Families, 2010-2011

We are delighted you are interested in being a part of Wesley Prep. Please refer to the following admission procedures and deadlines for our Mothers Day Out, Preschool and Elementary programs for the 2010-2011 school year.

Mother’s Day Out and Preschool - students 6 months to four years of age

  • Attend one of our tours - please see Tour The School for dates; reservations are not required.
  • Complete the Parent Application Form.
  • Complete a MDO/Preschool Preference Form to request preferred program and days.
  • Mail both of these back to us along with a $100.00 non-refundable application fee on or before February 1, 2010.
  • Admission decisions will be mailed on February 12, 2010.
  • If your child is offered admission, a non-refundable registration fee to hold your space for 2010-2011 will be due on February 22, 2010.
  • Full tuition for the 2010-2011 school year will be due on March 26, 2010.

Kindergarten, Primer or First Grade

  • Attend one of our tours-please see Tour The School-or arrange an individual tour with our Executive Director, Linda Altick at 214-706-9571 or laltick@wesleyprep.org.
  • Arrange for offsite testing through CATS with results sent to us by January 7, 2010. Please visit catstexas.com for information and registration form. The $275.00 testing fee is paid by the student’s parents. These results can be shared with multiple schools.
  • Have your student’s current teacher fill out the Teacher Evaluation Form. This form will be mailed by the teacher directly to us. This form needs to arrive at Wesley Prep by January 7, 2010.
  • Complete a School Records Request Form and submit it to your student’s current school so that they may send the required records to us. Records must be received by January 7, 2010.
  • Complete a Preferred Visit Form for your student’s visit to our campus. Scheduled dates: January 23, 30, or February 6, 2010.
  • Complete the Parent Application Form and attach a current photo of your student to this form. Mail this form along with the preferred visit form and a non-refundable $100.00 application fee on or before January 7, 2010.
  • Student attends their scheduled onsite Saturday visit. In order to attend the onsite Saturday visit, a student must have all forms completed and on file and the application fee paid by January 7, 2010.
  • Admission decisions will be mailed February 12, 2010.
  • If your child is offered admission, a non-refundable registration fee will be due on February 22, 2010 to hold your space if you accept our offer of admission.
  • Full tuition for 2010-2011 will be due on March 26, 2010.

Second, Third and Fourth Grades

  • Attend one of our tours-please see Tour The School-or arrange an individual tour with our Executive Director, Linda Altick at 214-706-9571 or laltick@wesleyprep.org.

  • Schedule your student to take the ISEE so that we receive the results prior to January 7, 2010. Please visit http://www.erbtest.org/parents/admissions/isee for ISEE testing dates and locations.
  • Admission decisions will be mailed February 12, 2010.
  • If your child is offered admission, a non-refundable registration fee will be due on February 22, 2010 to hold your space if you accept our offer of admission.
  • Full tuition for 2010-2011 will be due on March 26, 2010.
